Dr. Meredith Williamson is a licensed psychologist and board certified in Clinical Health Psychology. She is the Director of Integrated Behavioral Health and a Clinical Associate Professor for the Department of Primary Care and Rural Medicine within the Texas A&M College of Medicine. She is also the Associate Program Director for the Texas A&M Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Williamson has developed innovative integrated behavioral health curriculum and interdisciplinary service delivery. In 2024, the AAMC awarded Dr. Williamson and her team the Mental and Behavioral Health Training Award for their innovations in integrated behavioral health. Dr. Williamson specializes in evidence-based rural and underserved healthcare by seeking sustainable interventions targeting diverse individuals at risk for chronic medical and behavioral health conditions. Dr. Williamson has numerous publications and national presentations. She has served as an investigator for multiple grant funded initiatives focused on integrated behavioral health totaling over $12 million in external funding to expand service delivery and teaching.
