Inspired by his lifelong passions for community, relationship building, and science, Dr. Engle became a clinical psychologist so that he could work collaboratively with people to help them make meaningful and lasting lifestyle changes. A graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University, Dr. Engle earned his doctorate from the George Fox University Graduate Department of Clinical Psychology. He completed his internship at the Boise VA Medical Center and his residency at the Providence Medical Group-North Portland Family Medicine Clinic. Dr. Engle is currently the Western Oregon Clinical Psychologist Supervisor for YVFWC and oversees the clinical care and professional wellness of the BH staff in the Oregon region. He resides in Portland, Oregon and, among many hobbies, he enjoys trail running “about as much as” he enjoys popcorn.
