Dr. Shepardson is an investigator at the VA Center for Integrated Healthcare, based at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. She has a PhD in clinical psychology and extensive training in integrated primary care and health psychology. She is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of experience in Primary Care Behavioral Health and serves as outgoing co-editor of Families, Systems, & Health. Dr. Shepardson’s program of research aims to increase access to, and engagement in, evidence-based, patient-centered self-help and provider-delivered behavioral health treatment in primary care.
